A Football
What good is a tailgate party without a football. That's why you are there right? Plenty of times the guys will want to toss the ball around before the big game. Make sure you have one on hand.
Your Tickets
Tickets to the big game is a must. Your tailgate party won't be near as fun if you spend the whole time in the parking lot. Make sure you book your seats in advance. Many stadium box offices office a healthy discount if you purchase your tickets beforehand. Save some money so that you have more left over for the stuff that matters, food and beer!
Team Flag
You need to have your team's flag proudly on display to make sure that everyone knows where your affiliation lies. Most sporting goods stores will sell flags large enough to hang off the back of your pickup. It's definitely best to get as big of a flag as possible.
The Meat
This is probably the most important part of your tailgate party. Nobody wants to go tailgating without some quality links or beef to chow down on. Make sure to bring a large assortment of all the favorites such as chicken, sausages, beef and ribs
The Beer
What tailgate party can be complete without washing down all that grub with a few cold ones? Make sure to pick up a large pack of beer for the boys. You don't want to run out!
So as you can see, with a little bit of forethought your tailgate party will be the talk of the town. Make sure you bring the right items and make sure to cheer the home team on!
